Elliot’s Beach is located in Besant Nagar, Chennai, India. It forms the end-point of the Marina Beach shore and is named after Edward Elliot, Governor of Madras. It has the Velankanni Church and the Ashtalakshmi Kovil nearby. The beach, one of the cleanest beaches in the city, is a prominent hang-out zone for most of the college-going crowd in Chennai.

The Napier Bridge is a bridge in Madras, India. It is one of Chennai’s most iconic landmarks. The bridge was built in 1869 by Francis Napier who was the Governor of Madras from 1866 to 1872. The bridge is built over the Coovam River connecting Fort St. George with the Marina beach. The nearest bus stop to the bridge is the Anna Square bus stop from where one can easily walk

Ripon Building is the seat of the Chennai Corporation in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, a combination of three types of architectural styles – Gothic, Ionic and Corinthian. The Ripon Building is white in colour and is located near the Central station in Chennai. Commissioned in 1913, it was built by Loganatha Mudaliar.

The St. Charles’s Church is a church situated on the south side of Karlsplatz, Vienna. It is located on the edge of the 1st district. It is one of the most outstanding baroque church structures north of the Alps, and boasts a dome in the form of an elongated ellipsoid. The Karlskirche has garnered fame due to its dome and its two flanking columns of bas-reliefs

Fernhill Palace was the erstwhile summer residence of the Maharaja of Mysore. The first Fernhills bungalow was built in 1844 as a private residence in the hill station Ooty in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Its carved wooden bargeboards and ornamental cast iron give it that characteristic appearance. The Palace is spread out over 50 acres of green lawns, stylized gardens and dense woods with spectacular views of terraced tea gardens and lush verdant valleys.

Pykara is a river located 19 km from Ooty in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It passes through hilly tract, generally keeping to North and turns to West after reaching the Plateau’s edge. The river flows through a series of cascades; and the last two falls of 55 meters and 61 meters are known as Pykara falls. The falls are approximately 6 km from the bridge on the main road.

Athirapilly Falls in Kerala has captured the imagination of quite a few Indian directors, but none has been a bigger fan of the place than Mani Rathnam, for songs from as high as 4 of his movies have been shot there – Kannathil Muthamittaal, Guru, Iruvar & Uyire (Dil Se).

This is one of our personal favorites inside Tamil Nadu, when it comes to shooting spot locations. At the peak of the season and when in full flow, the Hogenkkal Falls is second to none. It has the rare combination of majesty, power & beauty, all rolled into one.
