Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks situated under the mountain Reynisfjall near the village Vík í Mýrdal, southern Iceland. According to legend the Reynisdrangar needles were formed when two trolls were trying to drag a three-masted ship to land. The Needles can be seen clearly from the village of Vík and are 66 meters above sea level at their highest

The Queen Victoria Gardens are Melbourne’s memorial to Queen Victoria. Located on 4.8 hectares (12 acres) opposite the Victorian Arts Centre and National Gallery of Victoria, bounded by St Kilda Road, Alexandra Avenue and Linlithgow Avenue. A huge floral clock is positioned opposite the National Gallery of Victoria, containing over 7,000 flowering plants which are changed twice yearly.

Mondsee is an Austrian town in the Vöcklabruck district in Upper Austria located on the shore of the lake Mondsee. The length from north to south is 9.5 km, and width from east to west is 7.7 km. The cloister church was used for the site of the wedding in The Sound of Music. It is home to one or more prehistoric pile-dwelling (or stilt house) settlements

The Mirabell Palace (German: Schloss Mirabell) is a historical building in Salzburg, Salzburgerland, Austria. It was built in the Baroque style, with Italian and French models, by Archbishop Wolf Dietrich Raitenau in 1606. In its geometrically-arranged gardens are mythology-themed statues dating from 1730 and four groups of sculpture by the Italian sculptor Ottavio Mosto, from 1690.

Lucerne railway station is a major hub of the Swiss rail network. It is a terminal station serving domestic and international traffic on several rail lines. The lines from the east (Zürich–Lucerne and the Gotthard lines) pass to the north of Lucerne and then join the lines from the north (Olten–Lucerne line) and the west (Bern–Wolhusen–Lucerne line)

This midieval fortress has served as a residential castle for several families. Every family reconstructed the building partially, resulting in a well preserved overview of the transformations that the castle went through in history. Several rooms can be seen in their original Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque style. The interior is mostly still present.

The Alte Oper is a major concert hall and former opera house in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The building was inaugurated in 1880. Many important works have been premiered at the Alte Oper, including Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana in 1937. The building was inaugurated on October 20, 1880. It was designed by the Berlin architect Richard Lucae and financed by the citizens of Frankfurt.

Werribee Park Mansion was built by pastoralists Andrew Chirnside and Thomas Chirnside between 1874 and 1877 in the Italianate style. Its residential and working buildings supported a large farm workforce. The rooms open to the public include the billiardroom, the main bedrooms, the reception rooms and part of the kitchen. The Christmas carols are held in the mansion grounds every year.

Planned in 1990 as temporary replacement of the “Eiserner Steg”, the Holbein Bridge quickly found a place in the hearts of the inhabitants of Frankfort, so that the suspension bridge remained at its location. The steel supporting structure spans the Main River with a span of 142 m and a total length of 210 m. The width of the pedestrian bridge amounts to 4 m.

Burswood Train Station, near the Burswood Dome, provides a public transport link to the Perth CBD.

The Zytglogge tower is a landmark medieval tower in Bern, Switzerland. Built in the early 13th century, it has served the city as guard tower, prison, clock tower, centre of urban life and civic memorial. Despite the many renovations, the Zytglogge is one of Bern’s most recognisable symbols and, with its 15th-century astronomical clock, a major tourist attraction.

The Victorian Arts Centre is a performing arts centre consisting of a complex of theatres and concert halls in the Melbourne Arts Precinct, located in the inner Melbourne suburb of Southbank in Victoria, Australia. It was designed by architect Sir Roy Grounds. The complex opened in stages, with Hamer Hall opening in 1982, and the Theatres Building opening in 1984.

The Shrine of Remembrance, located in Kings Domain on St Kilda Road, Melbourne, Australia was built as a memorial to the men and women of Victoria who served in World War I and is now a memorial to all Australians who have served in war. It is a site of annual observances of ANZAC Day (25 April) and Remembrance Day (11 November) and is one of the largest war memorials in Australia.

Bangalore Palace, a palace located in the city of Bangalore, India, was built to look like a smaller replica of the Windsor Castle in England. It was built by Rev. Garrett, who was the first Principal of the Central High School in Bangalore, now known as Central College. The construction of the palace was started in the year 1862 and completed in 1944.

Fernhill Palace was the erstwhile summer residence of the Maharaja of Mysore. The first Fernhills bungalow was built in 1844 as a private residence in the hill station Ooty in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Its carved wooden bargeboards and ornamental cast iron give it that characteristic appearance. The Palace is spread out over 50 acres of green lawns, stylized gardens and dense woods with spectacular views of terraced tea gardens and lush verdant valleys.

Jökulsárlón is the best known and the largest of a number of glacial lakes in Iceland. It is situated between Skaftafell National Park and Höfn. Appearing first only in 1934-1935, the lake grew from 7.9 km² in 1975 to at least 18 km² today because of heavy melting of the Icelandic glaciers. Approaching a depth of 200 m, Jökulsárlón is now probably the second deepest lake in Iceland.
