One marvel of designing is the 17th century ornate step-well Panna Mian ki Baoli. Stepwells were like community centres in the past, and constructing them was considered an act of great generosity and benevolence. Panna Mian is one such water tank surrounded on three sides by criss-crossed steps. It also has octagonal corner kiosks and a double-storey verandah.

Jagat Shrimoni Temple was constructed by Shri Kankawatiji in commemoration of her beloved son Maharaja Kumar Jagat Singhji in 1601. The Temple houses the idol of Lord Krishna and is famous with the celebrated saint-poetess Mira Bai.

Established by the Kuldhar sub-caste of Paliwal Brahmins in the year 1291, it was once a prosperous village with 600 houses. Kuldhara is a calm place and the ruins found around are examples of advanced sculpture and architecture.

Along with Amber Fort and Jaigarh Fort it formed a strong defence ring for the city. The word Nahargarh means the abode of tigers and is also called the Tiger Fort or the hunting residence of Maharajas.
