Qantab is a fishing village that is south of the Omani capital of Muscat, located between Al Bustan and Al Khayran. The beach at Qantab is open to public at no cost. There are usually several boatmen who offer rides around the rocky outcrops nearby. One of the standout features of this beach are crystal clear waters and absolute cleanliness with which the beach has been maintained.

Oman Dive Center is the oldest dive center in Oman. Founded in 1989, it was run as a dive club for several years and has undergone remarkable changes to become what it is today. In 2004 Oman Dive Center was taken over by Extra Divers Worldwide and was transformed into the only “eco dive resort” of Oman – in fact the only one in the Middle East!
