It is also the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere (after Auckland’s Sky Tower)

Gnanaprakasam Pillai and construction was completed in 1933.The church is located at the center of the Loyola College campus in Chennai. The church building occupies an area of 9,000 sq ft, with the length and breadth 150 ft & 60 ft respectively.

In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage”.
