The bridge over the Moore River was designed by Vito Acconci from New York in order to celebrate “Graz 2003: Culture Capital of Europe.” The bridge connects artificial islands composed of various merging shells. Now the island features a sunbathing zone, a small cafe, an open-air theatre and a fashion bar. The Mur River Bridge is a classical mixture of art and architecture, a combination of dream and reality.
