Another location that we had wanted to document long back, right after the movie was released but couldn’t get to. One of the easier locations to document as the name of the beach where parts of the song was shot was well publicized even before the release of the movie. And that makes our job much more easier, as one can imagine. From our research, though Qantab is an obscure fishing village removed from the more popular areas surrounding the capital city, Muscat, the fact that the beach seems to be very popular among visitors should have convinced the film crew to shoot at this location.

Qantab is a fishing village that is south of the Omani capital of Muscat, located between Al Bustan and Al Khayran. The beach at Qantab is open to public at no cost. There are usually several boatmen who offer rides around the rocky outcrops nearby. One of the standout features of this beach are crystal clear waters and absolute cleanliness with which the beach has been maintained. One can see a bunch of vandalized ruins upon taking a stroll on the beach.
