This is location that is special to us in more than 1 way. One is that this has been used in a movie of which we are big fans of (Baasha) and the second reason is that we have been trying to find out the location for some time now. First, we thought this might be the Golconda fort but then realized that it was not the case. Then my mom who is a history teacher and who regularly takes her students on educational tours to historically significant places in South India, nonchalantly says ‘Oh, some scenes of your favorite movie Baasha were shot at Qutb Shahi tombs, right next to the Goldconda fort’. Apparently, my mother has been to those tombs and folks there had commented about the shooting of Baasha that was conducted at the premises some years back. So, having a history teach for mother does bring with it a host of advantages. And looks like we were not off the target by a long distance when we had originally guessed Golconda Fort as the location.

About the location (from Wiki):
The famous tombs of the seven Qutub Shahi rulers in the Ibrahim Bagh are located close to the famous Golkonda Fort. The galleries of the smaller tombs are of a single storey while the larger ones are two storied. In the centre of each tomb is a sarcophagus which overlies the actual burial vault in a crypt below. The domes were originally overlaid with blue and green tiles, of which only a few pieces now remain. They lie about a kilometre north of the outer perimeter wall of Golkonda Fort’s Banjara Darwaza amidst the Ibrahim Bagh.
