Gone are the days when a complete song sequence is shot exclusively at a location. Directors these days use more than 10 locations for a given song. But guess what? That is something which gets us excited here at Where Was It Shot. More filming spots, more locations for us to document. This location again appears in the Omana PennE song for less than 20 seconds but I am sure there are many among us today who were able to guess the song by merely looking at the picture of this church. That is the effect some locations leave on our senses and this is one such.

About the location (from here):
Malta has many cliff chapels, mainly servicing the needs of fishermen and their families. The St Mary Magdalen Chapel is one of these, built in 1646 and at one stage deconsecrated; it is set in one of Malta’s outstanding locations, Dingli Cliffs. The chapel has recently been restored and mass is celebrated there on the 22nd July, the saint’s feast day. The construction date is engraved above the entrance door, together with a warning that the chapel cannot provide refuge from the law! Nearby is the peculiar structure of the radar and observation post (you can’t miss the golf ball roof).
