Another unique location from our list, as we don’t have many race tracks in our country. Or at the least, we couldn’t think of any other race tracks in India that have been used as filming locations used in our movies. For anyone who grew up watching Tamil movies from the 90s, we are sure that this location will ring a bill instantly.

The Irungattukottai Race Track is a permanent motor racing circuit located in Irungattukottai, Sriperumbudur, Chennai, India. It was built in the late 80s. The Madras Motor Sports Club is owning and operating the racing. The Full Circuit is 3.717 kilometres long. It has 12 turns and 3 straights. The Club Circuit is 2.067 kilometres long and has 7 turns. Both tracks are 11 metres wide. Irungattukottai Race Track is an FIA and Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme certified circuit.
