Going by the number of movies we have been discovering that were shot in Turkey, we can confidently say that the country is fast becoming one of the most preferred countries for our directors. We have a list of 4 songs that we know have been shot here at this location but one thing that we have observed from these 4 songs is that our directors are sticking to a select few locations in the country as most of these songs have also been shot at the other 2 locations that we have documented so far – Pamukkale & Cappadocia.

About the location (from Wiki):
Ephesus was an ancient Greek city, and later a major Roman city, on the west coast of Asia Minor, near present-day Selçuk, Izmir Province, Turkey. It was one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League during the Classical Greek era. In the Roman period, it was for many years the second largest city of the Roman Empire; ranking behind Rome, the empire’s capital. Ephesus had a population of more than 250,000 in the 1st century BC, which also made it the second largest city in the world.

Ephesus was one of the seven churches of Asia that are cited in the Book of Revelation. The Gospel of John may have been written here. It is also the site of a large gladiators’ graveyard.
