This theater should be very familiar for the Tamil audience as it was not too long ago, this theater was featured in the super hit song ‘Allegra’ from the movie Kandhaswamy. Zeroing in on this location was pretty easy as the director had thanked at the authorities of this theater in the opening credits of the movie.

About the location:

The theater Ventidius Basso of Ascoli Piceno is located in via the Trivium, overlooking the cloister of San Francisco , close to Piazza del Popolo. It was named after Ventidius Basso, Ascoli, who lived in the first century BC who was able to climb the ranks of the Roman military hierarchy. The theater, which has 15 feet of rope, consists of an oval room with four tiers, each divided into 23 boxes and the gallery to gallery with a total capacity of 842 spectators. Its seats are covered with velvet smooth color red.
