Cappadocia is one of those locations where the moment you see it on screen, you go ‘How in the world did the director find such a location for this song?’ It takes your breathe away and it does comes as a surprise that so far, there has been only 1 movie whose song has been shot in this location. This Cappadocia is actually a region in Turkey whose landscape as you see here stuns you instantly. As the budget of Indian movies continue to rise upwards, one of the positive side-effects of the same is that locations that have never before been shown on the silver screen are now being done so. This is one such location as the director of the movie P.Vasu said during the making of the movie that they wanted to shoot this song at a location that has not been shown on the big screen as far as Indian movies are concerned.

To us at wherewasitshot.com, this location did come as a surprise as in, the director is not really known to explore such out-of-the-box options for the picturization of songs in his movies. May be the fact that the Superstar was part of the movie made him to pick an unique location like this. Nevertheless, the region does capture your rapt attention and we have known folks who watch this song just to notice this location.

About the location (from Wiki):
Cappadocia is a region in central Turkey, largely in Nevşehir Province. Cappadocia lies in eastern Anatolia, in the center of what is now Turkey. The Cappadocia region is largely underlain by sedimentary rocks formed in lakes and streams, and ignimbrite deposits erupted from ancient volcanoes approximately 9 to 3 million years ago, during the late Miocene to Pliocene epochs. The rocks of Cappadocia near Göreme eroded into hundreds of spectacular pillars and minaret-like forms. The volcanic deposits are soft rocks that the people of the villages at the heart of the Cappadocia Region carved out to form houses, churches and monasteries. Göreme became a monastic center between 300—1200 AD.
